Buffalo Philharmonic to play at GCC gala

BATAVIA—A holiday pops concert by the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will be the highlight of Genesee Community College Foundation’s Encore 2009 fundraising gala Dec. 9 on the campus.
The orchestra, under conductor Paul Ferrington, will make its first appearance in the Stuart Steiner Theater at 7:45 p. m. GCC’s largest fundraiser begins with a prelude reception with Ferrington for premium ticket holders.
