HEALTH FAIR: Oracle Charter School is hosting a free health fair for students, their families and the community from 2 to 6 p. m. today in the school, 888 Delaware Ave. The fair will include free preventive screenings for glucose, dental, blood pressure and STDs; a flu shot clinic; representatives from Roswell Park Cancer Institute to discuss smoking cessation and cancer awareness; and a question- and-answer session about swine flu with Dr. Tom Schenk. LEE STAFFER IN BATAVIA: A member of the staff of Rep. Chris Lee, R-Clarence, will be available for one-on-one meetings with Genesee County residents from 9 to 11 a. m. Wednesday in the Old Court House Conference Room, 7 Main St., Batavia.
VETERANS OPPORTUNITY FAIR: The Erie County Veterans Service Agency is hosting a Veterans Opportunity Fair from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. Thursday in the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center, 153 Franklin St. The event will include more than 40 exhibitors and eight seminars.
