Two state parks closing for winter season Nov. 13

LEWISTON—Roads at Joseph Davis and Artpark state parks will be closed for the winter season beginning Nov. 13, the state Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation reports.
At Joseph Davis, the road between the park entrance and Pletcher Road will be closed. Access will be available via Lower River Road. At Artpark, the Portage Road entrance will be closed, and access will be available at the South Fourth Street entrance.
Both roads will reopen April 15, weather permitting.
