Bogus concrete workers target Lackawanna elderly

Elderly citizens in Lackawanna are being preyed on by a pair of scam artists posing as concrete workers and Lackawanna police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving the crime.
Police said the two men claim to be concrete workers and offer to repair cracked or damaged driveways for cash. One scam artist accompanies the owner into the basement as the second searches the house for cash. Two people have fallen prey, police said.
