Buffalo police Friday identified the man shot to death early Thursday morning near Erie County Medical Center as Lawrence Bradberry, 30, of East Utica Street.

The victim’s body was discovered by Northeast District police officers answering a shooting call at about 6:15 a. m. Thursday in the 100 block of Durham Avenue, one block east of ECMC. Bradberry was found lying in the street on Durham, near Litchfield Avenue.

Meanwhile, James Clemons, 30, of Buffalo, who was shot a few hours earlier at Walden Avenue and Harmonia Street, remained in critical condition today in ECMC.

Clemons was sitting in a parked car at about 3:40 a. m. Thursday when he got into an argument with two men and was shot in the head, police have said.
