2 arrested, dozens ticketed after Toby Keith concert

DARIEN—Two arrests were made and dozens of appearance tickets were issued Friday night following the Toby Keith concert at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center.

Ethan J. Young, 20, of North Road, Churchville, was charged with trespass after returning to the concert venue after being ejected. Young was arraigned in Darien Court and sent to jail in lieu of $250 bail.

Also arrested was Stephen Masich IV, 27, of Broad Street, Tonawanda. Masich was charged with disorderly conduct, second-degree harassment and third-degree robbery after allegedly pushing two women inside the concert venue and stealing a cell phone from another woman and throwing it. Masich was arraigned in Darien Court and released on $5,000 bail.

Additionally, appearance tickets were issued to 36 people charged with underage possession of alcohol with intent to consume. All are scheduled to appear in court Sept. 2.

Four additional appearance tickets were issued on charges including disorderly conduct, harassment and trespassing. Those people are scheduled to appear in court Sept. 15.
