Plans for Fillmore law office, statue gaining momentum in East Aurora

East Aurora is quite smitten with its historical ties to former U.S. President Millard Fillmore. So it’s fitting that the Aurora Historical Society wants to enhance the National Historic Landmark Millard Fillmore House maintained as a museum and visitor site just off Main Street. The society is looking to build a replica of Fillmore’s East Aurora law office next to the museum on Shearer Avenue, along with commissioning a sculpture of Fillmore.
