A 26-year-old Hamburg woman was arrested on drunk driving charges early Saturday morning after state troopers saw her driving the wrong way in the Town of Concord.

     At about 12:25 a.m., Boston-based troopers saw a black 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier driving the wrong way on State Route 219.

     They pulled over the car and they observed the driver, Amanda L. Metzger, 26, appeared to be drunk. She was given a field sobriety test and was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

     She was taken to the State Police Boston barracks where she submitted to a chemical test which showed her blood alcohol content was .17%, more than twice the legal limit of drinking and driving.

     She was released and scheduled to appear before the Town of Concord Court on Aug. 9.
