A car full of teenagers went off the road on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation early Saturday, killing one girl and leaving another girl, both of Hamburg, in critical condition.

The 19-year-old driver lost control of a 2001 Ford Mustang convertible on a curve of Versailles Planks Road, near Snow Road, at 4:22 a.m., Erie County sheriff's deputies said.

The car with five teens went down an embankment, ejecting a 14-year-old girl, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other Hamburg girl, 13, was taken to Women & Children's Hospital and is listed in critical condition, deputies said.

Identities have yet to be relased.

The car was following two other cars full of young people, deputies said. After the crash, the other cars returned to the scene, deputies added.

Erie County Sheriff's Sgt. Daniel Dytchkowskyj said 16 teenagers were interviewed. Only the driver of the car that crashed was not a minor.

The crash remains under investigation. Blood samples were taken from the driver, a Blasdell resident who was described as "cooperative."

"Because of the sensitive nature of the case -- a death from an accident involving kids -- we want to make sure we know exactly what happened before we release anything to the public," Dytchkowskyj said. "We really can't say much. We still have a lot of work to do."

The driver and a 16-year-old male passenger from West Seneca were treated in Erie County Medical Center, then released. Also, a 14-year-old Hamburg girl was treated in Lake Shore Hospital, Irving, then released.

Bless the families surrounding this tragedy. My teenage daughter used to sneak out once I was asleep ans would bve back before I knew she went out. This happned a few times before I caught on. My heart goes out to all involved. The personal fable is... This can never happen to me... a common belief most teenagers and some adults belive. Unfortunatley, this stuff does happen and time can't be reversed. As a parent I know we can only do so much, kids don't live with shackles attached to our side. Even though it would solve a multitude of senerios. This is a sorrowful time.

There is a facebook page RIP Angela Keim that has done nothing but bash this child. It is the epitomy of cyberbullying.. grown men and people from other countries are laughing at this girls death. Calling her names and posting horrible things. Someone please take the time to call Channel 4 - Facebook refuses to remove this page. Angela was a 14 year old girl - her family is mourning her death - they shouldnt have to be subjected to online bullying done by people that have never met her. PLEASE take the time to look at the site on facebook and report it to channel four.

My prayers & condolences for the family of the 14 yr. family. Hard understanding something, A 13, 14, 16 & 19 year old doing out at 4:30 in the morning + possibly drinking? My BIG question is "Where where the parents, Where is the parent supervision? In my time (80's-90's) our butts had to be in before dark or a before 11pm in the summer time that was it, no if an or but's. That was parenting / structure & discipline. Which most parents don't practice anymore. Should they be held responsible?
