A fundraiser will be held this month for Karen Kuklewicz—a Cheektowaga mother of 9-year-old twins who lost her husband in the Flight 3407 crash in February and then suffered a massive stroke two months later.

The event will be held from 1 to 7 p. m. Aug. 16 in the Hearthstone Manor, 330 Dick Road, Depew.

The benefit will include an auction of more than 300 baskets and appearances by former Sabres coach and general manager Scotty Bowman and members of the Buffalo Jills, along with food, beer, wine, sodas, coffee and dessert.

Tickets are $25 for adults; children 10 and under are free. To order tickets, call Chris Michalski at 949-7058 or Wendy Craft at 743-0218.

To make a donation, send checks to M&TBank, c/o Friends of Karen Kuklewicz, 2882 Delaware Ave., Kenmore, NY 14217, or stop by any M&TBank branch.
