Best Bet –Park free at the LaSalle Metro Rail station and take a 20- minute ride to HSBC Arena. Fare is $1.75 for adults, with trains running every few minutes. The rail has added more capacity and will be running more frequently to accommodate fans. This deal applies only on Friday and Sunday. Park & Ride Tip: Try to stay away from the University Park and Ride so you don’t hit the everyday commuter traffic. The LaSalle Park and Ride is about eight-tenths of a mile away and offers more than 700 spaces.

Best Travel Deal –Buy a $4 day pass to ride the Metro Rail or bus to and from the games. The Metro is also offering restaurant shuttle buses from the Arena during the break between Friday’s double-headers to travel to restaurants along Chippewa Street and Elmwood Avenue. Round-trip cost for just the restaurant shuttle is $3.50. Exact change is required.

SCHEDULE:

Friday: The Metro Rail will run from HSBC Arena station every 10 to 12 minutes before Session I and leaves after Session II every seven to 10 minutes. Trolleys will run every 15 minutes from 11 a. m. to 1 p. m.; 4:30 to 8:30 p. m.; and 11 p. m. to 1 a. m.

Saturday: Regular Metro Rail and Metro Bus Service.

Sunday: Metro Rail will operate every 15 minutes before the games and will leave from HSBC Arena station every seven to 10 minutes after the games. Trolleys will run approximately every 15 minutes for two hours before and after games.

* The Metro Bus also runs on Elmwood Avenue, Delaware Avenue and other major downtown areas.
