The Erie County Health Department is sponsoring a pair of swine flu vaccination clinics from 8 a. m. to 6 p. m. Wednesday in schools in the Southtowns. There is no cost or co-pay, but those coming for shots should bring their health insurance cards.

Clinics will be held at Springville Griffith Institute Central School, 267 Newman St., Springville, and Eden Junior-Senior High School, 3150 Schoolview Road, Eden.

Meanwhile, Walgreens pharmacies are offering vaccinations for swine flu to anyone who wants one and meets the age requirements, it was announced Monday. Vaccinations are available on a walk-in basis whenever an immunizing pharmacist is on duty. They also can be received by appointment. Cost is $18 and is covered by Medicare and may be covered by Medicaid and other insurance.
