Author to discuss raising an autistic daughter

Eustacia Cutler, who wrote a book about raising her autistic daughter, will be the keynote speaker today at the third annual Northtowns Family Agency Fair and Parent Conference.
Hosted by Ken-Ton SEPTSA (Special Education Parent-Teacher-Student Association), the event is scheduled from 9 a. m. to 3 p. m. in Kenmore West High School, 33 Highland Parkway. It’s part of Autumn of Awareness, an annual and season-long event filled with education, information and resources to help enrich the lives of those who have special needs and to help support their families, caregivers and educators.
Cutler, whose daughter is Dr. Temple Grandin, an autistic person who is an internationally known professor of animal science, will give two free presentations, beginning at 10:30 a. m. and 1:30 p. m. Registration is recommended for guaranteed seating; register at
