Museum of Science plans annual ‘Attic’ program tonight

A chance to view items from the Charles Rand Penney art collection never before displayed in a public museum will be offered during the seventh annual “Museum’s Attic” today in the Buffalo Museum of Science.
The fundraiser will include behind-the-scenes tours led by curators. Two stops will include treasures from the 1901 Pan American Exposition and the function of attraction and stealth in the bug world. There will be a e treasure hunt for artifacts hidden throughout the Humboldt Parkway building. Hundreds of items donated by Buffalo shops, tourist attractions and collectors will be auctioned.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $100 and available at www.sciencebuff.org. Proceeds benefit the Buffalo Society of Natural Sciences.
