Blasdell Elementary will serve only cold sandwich meals, including milk, for lunches during the first week of school. The Frontier Central School District starts the academic year Wednesday.

The problem stems from a renovation project involving the school’s kitchen floor. Each day, students will have a choice of the sandwich of the day, or peanut butter and jelly.
