WARSAW – A 49-year-old Pike man has been charged with driving while intoxicated and other counts for a two-car crash last Wednesday in Silver Springs that injured two employees of the Wyoming County Social Services Department, the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office reported Monday.
Mark L.. Rowley was traveling south on Cummings Avenue about 5 p.m. and was trying to turn his SUV onto Perry Avenue when he rammed the northbound car of county workers Megan Dennis and Patricia Keller, deputies said. Both woman were taken to Wyoming County Community Hospital for treatment of injuries and later discharged.
Rowley was charged by sheriff’s deputies with common two counts of driving while intoxicated one count of failing to yield the right of way. He was released to a third party and faces Gainesville Town Court proceedings in several weeks.
