WARSAW – A 45-year-old Batavia man was arrested early Sunday after twice walking along the middle of State Route 98 in two townships about 90 minutes apart, and possession of marijuana, the Wyoming County Sheriff’s office reported Monday.

Gregory S. Snyder of West Main Street, Batavia, was initially stopped late Saturday as he was walking in the highway in the Town of Attica.

Some 90 minutes later at about 12:10 a.m. Sunday he was again stopped as he was walking in the same highway in the Town of Bennington. He was arrested on disorderly conduct charges for obstructing the flow of traffic both times and after the second stop was found to have some marijuana and he was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. He faces proceedings Oct. 14 in Bennington Town Court.
