CASTILE – A one-vehicle crash in Wyoming County late Sunday night led to the arrest of a Castile man accused of having a blood-alcohol level more than three times the legal limit, Wyoming County sheriff’s officials reported.
At about 11:20 p.m., Perry village police and sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash site on Pattridge Road in the Town of Castile, where they found an overturned and unoccupied Dodge Ram. Police later located the driver, 35-year-old Jason M. Redfield, on Lower Reservation Road, where he admitted to having been the driver, officials stated.
A breath test revealed a blood-alcohol level of 0.26 percent, according to police reports. Redfield was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and several traffic charges.
