An Attica man was charged with driving while intoxicated for the fourth time after he allegedly crashed his pickup truck into two parked cars and left the scene Friday night, Attica police reported.
A witness who saw Ryan Z. Eddy, 24, of East Avenue, hit the parked cars on Buffalo Street followed Eddy to his home and saw him run inside, authorities said. Police say they observed that Eddy’s truck was damaged and found the rear spoiler of one of the parked vehicles lodged in the front hood, according to police.
Eddy was charged with felony DWI, driving across hazard markings, unsafe lane change and leaving the scene of an accident. He had three prior DWI arrests, including an aggravated DWI, officials said. He refused to submit to a breath test.
