ARCADE – A 27-year-old Arcade man was arrested on drug, drunken driving, unlawful imprisonment and other charges by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office shortly after he allegedly refused to let his girlfriend leave his car and then let her out and made her walk home Sunday afternoon.

After the woman complained, deputies seized marijuana, controlled substance pills, four hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia allegedly belonging to Joseph R. Rotonda, the Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.

He was charged with unlawful imprisonment, unlawful possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument, driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and unlicensed driving.

After arraignment in Arcade Town Court he was released on $5,000 bail pending court proceedings in May.
