LITTLE VALLEY – A woman hiker who was described by officials as being in her 20s walked out of Zoar Valley onto Gowanda-Zoar Road about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday after an hours long search for her by a number of local agencies.

The woman, who was reportedly hiking alone, became lost in mid-afternoon and used her cell phone to call for help. That set off an hours-long search, but she found her own way out of the valley.

She was reportedly healthy when law enforcement officials talked with her after she left the parkland on her own.
