A panel on “Smart Growth in Village Centers” will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Williamsville South High School, 5950 Main St.

It will feature John Norquist, president of the Congress for New Urbanism and the former mayor of Milwaukee; Paul Byer, director of smart growth for the State of New York; and Village of Williamsville Mayor Brian Kulpa.

The panel will look at how Western New York’s villages could be models for sustainable development in the suburbs. It is free and open to the public.
