An Amherst man was accused of trying to sell narcotics at a motel in the Town of Wheatfield, according to State Police.
Troopers were dispatched Sunday to a motel on Niagara Falls Boulevard on a report of an intoxicated person attempting to sell narcotics. Jacob A. Schiller, 29, was found in possession of large quantity of Xanax, troopers said.
Schiller was charged with a misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance and with possession of a controlled substance in a non-original container, which is a violation of state Public Health Law. Following arraignment in Lewiston Town Court, Schiller was sent to the Niagara County Jail.
