The West Seneca West Senior High School Chorus is performing this afternoon with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, as part of the Holiday Pops concert series.

• A Town Board work session begins at 3 p.m. Monday in council chambers at town hall, 1250 Union Road. The board’s regular meeting begins at 7 p.m.
• The “Cans for Community” holiday food drive, to benefit the West Seneca Community Food Pantry, runs through Monday. Cans of soup of any size and variety are requested, but other donations of non-perishable items of any kind will be accepted. Donations may be dropped off at the Kiwanis Recreation Center, 50 Legion parkway; Town Hall, 1250 Union Road; and the ice rink behind town hall.
• Homeowners who need access to the internet to re-register for the state’s basic School Tax Relief [STAR] program may drop by the Senior Citizens Center, 4260 Seneca St., between 4 and 7 p.m. Thursday, when members of the assessor’s office staff will be there to help. • A display of photographs from the Burchfield Nature & Art Center’s annual contest continues through Dec. 29, when the Peoples Choice Winner will be announced. Check out the photos and cast your ballot; the center is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.
