Goodwill’s retail and donation center at Seneca-Ridge Plaza celebrated its grand opening – again – earlier this month, after employees of a local marketing firm performed a facelift on the store’s interior.

The project was undertaken after Sandy Gingerich, a senior partner at Eric Mower + Associates, joined the board of directors of Goodwill Industries of Western New York and learned of the agency’s need to update its retail stores. More than 45 employees of the firm’s Buffalo office spent a day painting walls, hanging signs, and creating window displays, among other things.

The store, at 3531 Seneca St., originally opened in February 2012.
