Another beautiful day is in store for Western New York today, with highs in the 80s
“There is a very slight chance of some scattered thunderstorms later on, probably toward sunset,” said National Weather Service Meteorologist Dan Kelly.
There will be plenty of gorgeous weather to enjoy before then: Look for highs in the low 80s in downtown Buffalo, and in the mid-80s away from the waterfront.
But enjoy it while it lasts.
“We do have a cold front approaching,” Kelly said.
There’s more of a chance of rain and thunderstorms overnight, but the rain should clear out later in the day Wednesday.
Temperatures won’t get out of the 70s Wednesday. Highs will be in the mid-70s, and will be cooler near the lakes, with highs around 70 near Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, Kelly said.
The normal high this time of year is 77.
