If we can hang in there another four days, the weather should start looking up.
Temperatures will be below normal early this week, with highs in the 20s and lows in the teens or lower.
“We are looking for temperatures to actually climb back up toward more normal here – that being close to 50 degrees,” said David Thomas, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
We could hit the mid-40s on Thursday and likely the low 50s on Friday, he said.
But before that, we have to go through some chilly weather blamed on a weak weather system that could bring a few flurries before it heads off to the east on Wednesday.
“Looks like Thursday could be the better day,” Thomas said, with “more rain coming in on Friday along with warmer temperatures.”
