An East Side man accused of assaulting three women Sunday at a fast-food restaurant in the University Heights was eventually restrained by other patrons until police arrived, Northeast district officers reported.
Police say the donnybrook began at 4:25 p.m. inside the restaurant in the 3000 block of Main Street when Larry Graham, 30, of Texas Street, slapped a woman customer in the face before punching her to the ground and then hitting a second female customer.
When a third woman tried to help the first two customers, police say Graham punched her in the side of the face.
Other patrons grabbed Graham and pinned him down until officers arrived to arrest him. Police say Graham later refused several orders to get into a patrol car.
He is charged with assault, harassment and obstructing governmental administration.
