Two men were charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated Saturday night during a state police sobriety road check in the Village of Alden.

Ian E. Hahn, 26, of Alden and Robert B. Germann, 48, of Lancaster were charged with aggravated DWI because they had a child younger than under 16 in their vehicles, police said.

Hahn, arrested on two counts of aggravated DWI, posted a blood-alcohol content of 0.23, and Germann, 0.10, authorities said.

Their arrests were among eight DWI arrests at the checkpoint.
