Town of Tonawanda

People who think they may be victims of Tonawanda Coke’s environmental crimes can learn more about their rights under the law in a public forum at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Sheridan-Parkside Community Center, 169 Sheridan Parkside Drive.

Sponsored by Citizen Science Community Resources, the forum will feature federal prosecutors involved in the criminal case, as well as citizen activists and experts on environmental pollution.

The public also will hear about the results of a recent soil study by Citizen Science and local high school students.

Also this week:

• The Ken-Ton School Board will hold a budget work session at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the auditorium of Hoover Middle School, 249 Thorncliff Road.

• A meeting of the Kenmore Village Board begins at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Council Chambers at the municipal building, 2919 Delaware Ave. A work session begins at 6:30 in the mayor’s office.

• The town’s Planning Board will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Room 21 at the municipal building.
