A 15-year-old boy struck by a car as he crossed Niagara Falls Boulevard on his bicycle near Greenhaven Terrance shortly after 4 p.m. Monday was listed in critical but stable condition in Women & Children’s Hospital.

Town of Tonawanda Police said the boy’s identity has not been released and police have not filed charges against the driver of the car. Police said they learned from witnesses that the boy did not cross the busy roadway at the crosswalk. The incident occurred several blocks north of the intersection with Willow Ridge Drive, where two women pedestrians were killed in separate incidents – in June and on Aug. 9.
