A 14-year-old Sattler Avenue boy was arrested on a felony weapons charge late Thursday morning after Buffalo police got a call reporting a man with a gun in the Doat Street area.

Officers found the teen on a porch in the first block of Sattler, allegedly trying to hide a sawed-off .22-caliber rifle in his clothing. Officers said he was carrying two .22 caliber rounds, but the rifle was not loaded. He was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
