A Buffalo man has admitted robbing two people at gunpoint in April.

Anthony R. Pena, 21, of Lansdale Street, pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery and criminal possession of a weapon before State Supreme Court Justice John L. Michalski, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.

The convictions stem from two separate incidents.

On April 8, Pena used a loaded .32-caliber revolver to rob two victims at Florida and Spillman streets, according to the District Attorney’s Office.

Additionally, Pena fled police during a traffic stop on May 15, driving recklessly through city streets and throwing a .32-caliber revolver out of the car.

Pena faces a prison term of up to 30 years at his sentencing, scheduled for Aug. 29.
