The Springville-Griffith school bus driver injured Wednesday morning when a tractor trailer ran a stop sign in Concord was reported in fair condition this morning.

Marlene Golabek, 56, of Springville, was airlifted to Erie County Medical Center after Wednesday morning’s collision at Springville-Boston and Genesee roads in the Town of Concord.

Golabek, who had no students on board, was returning to the district’s bus garage when a tractor-trailer driven by David Barry, 26, of Denton, Md., went through a stop sign at the intersection and hit the front of the bus. Barry, who wasn’t injured, was cited for failure to obey a stop sign, failure to yield the right of way and a log book violation, according to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.
