DUNKIRK – City Council members are looking to meet with tenants in the boardwalk complex.
At the regular meeting of the Dunkirk Development Committee on Wednesday in City Hall, Chairwoman Stephanie Kiyak asked Development Director Steve Neratko to arrange for a tenant meeting.
There are eight retail locations in the city’s boardwalk center. The tenants include restaurants and retail stores.
Neratko said the meeting would be set for later this month.
Members of the committee also heard that old fuel tanks have been removed from a parking area near the harbor.
The tanks were located by the Department of Environmental Conservation.
Neratko said the city would be able to market the property once the DEC report is issued and the soil is not considered contaminated.
