One shot was fired late Thursday through the window of an occupied house on Jones Street, Buffalo police said.
The bullet shattered a front window and broke a 60-inch flat-screen television.
The occupant of the house – a 41-year-old woman who was asleep at the time of the incident – told police that she woke up to find her window shattered and her television broken.
“I lived here for three years and never had a problem,” the woman said when reached by phone. “Something told me to go downstairs, and when I finally did, I found my window broken and a bullet hole in my 60-inch flat screen.
“I don’t know how it happened,” said the woman. “It scared me.”
Jones Street is located between Clinton and Lyman streets in the Buffalo’s Babcock neighborhood.
No arrests have been made.
