The 19th annual Mass for Peace in Northern Ireland – and throughout the world – will be offered at 7 p.m. April 21 in St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1140 Abbott Road, South Buffalo.
The celebrant is the Rev. James G. Judge, pastor of the linked parish communities of St. Martin of Tours and St. Thomas Aquinas. David and Felicia Meyer of Kindred will provide the music. The Erie County Sheriff’s Pipes and Drums Band and stepdancers from the Buffalo area schools of traditional Irish dance will also participate.
The collection will benefit the Belfast Summer Relief Program, which has provided more than 1,700 children from Northern Ireland with a new perspective on life through a six-week holiday in the Buffalo area.
