The Park School of Buffalo will present a public program to compare and contrast the school’s approach to education with current public school improvement efforts, including the Common Core Learning Standards, at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, at the Park School, 4625 Harlem Road, Snyder.

The program, which will be run by sixth grade teacher Jim Hanlon and Head of Middle School Angela Pileri, will explain the state learning standards and assessments and how they compare to Park’s standards and assessments. The program will focus on students in fourth through eighth grades.

People interested in attending can make a reservation by calling Amy Diati at 839-1242, ext. 100. Walk-ins are also welcome.

The Park School is an independent school serving about 300 students from prekindergarten through 12th grade.
