NEWFANE – Reckless driving in the Bixler Road area Saturday afternoon led to the arrest of a Corwin Station resident.

Sheriff’s deputies charged David R. Upton III, 31, with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Deputies said they found a pill and a Suboxone strip in Upton’s property, neither of which had an active prescription.

Upton’s driver’s license had been suspended for failure to answer a summons in the Town of Lockport, according to police records.
