WILSON – Items worth $4,000 were stolen Friday morning from cars parked at homes in the 2800 to 2900 blocks of Lake Road, Niagara County sheriff’s deputies said.

In all, six unlocked vehicles at two residences were targeted, deputies said, with items taken from four. One homeowner reported the loss of $930 worth of goods, including a DC converter, dual DVD player, tablet computer with case and a pair of sunglasses.

The other victim reported tools were among items stolen from two vehicles parked in a driveway. Items taken included nail guns, a compressor, generator, radar detector, global positioning system and $25 in coin.

The thefts occurred before 10:30 a.m. Friday.
