LITTLE VALLEY – An Olean man pleaded guilty just as jury selection was to begin at his felony trial before Cattaraugus County Judge Ronald D. Ploetz,
District Attorney Lori Pettit Rieman said Jason A. Hogle, 29, who has served brief prison terms since 2004 for burglary and grand larcenys, pleaded guilty to criminal possession of stolen property, identity theft and attempted witness intimidation.
In the Town of Hinsdale last December 2012, Hogle “harassed, annoyed and threatened” a person who had information about his criminal activity, Rieman said. In his plea, which could leave him facing an extended prison term as a prior felon, Hogle admitted having stolen property and using a fake name when he was as arrested months ago. He was remanded pending his Feb. 24 sentencing
