PORTER – Niagara County sheriff’s deputies are investigating two recent thefts, including one at a Lutts Road address that vacant because of a recent fire.
An unregistered vehicle left at the Lutts property was broken into last week, when the thief removed the car’s front bumper to steal a pair of fog lamps. Damage and loss were estimated at $600. The vehicle is owned by a Lewiston man.
Deputies also investigated the theft of a 400-gallon, stainless-steel container from a Youngstown-Lockport Road residence. The loss was estimated at $1,000.
