NIAGARA FALLS – An 18-year-old Tonawanda woman suffered blurry vision and a swollen eye after a man punched her in the face outside a Third Street nightspot early Saturday, police said.

The victim had gone to Café Etc. with another friend, also 18, and while there asked two men to take a photo of them. She said the men then began to “hit” on them aggressively, prompting the victim to tell the two to stay away. One of the men then tossed liquid on one of the women, which got both men ejected from the bar. When the two women went outside the bar for a cigarette later, they told police they were accosted by the two men, who spat on them and started a “brawl,” leading to the punch.

Police said they are looking at a possible suspect.
