Buffalo firefighters Friday battled three fires, including one that caused $100,000 in damage to a 2½-story frame house at 99 Morris Ave. Friday afternoon.

The cause of the fire, which broke out about 3 p.m., remains under investigation. No one was injured, authorities said. Damage to the building was estimated at $65,000 and contents, $35,000.

Meanwhile, a man pulled unconscious from a 1½-story frame house at 196 Ericson Avenue was treated in Erie County Medical Center after fire crews were summoned to the home about 6:11 p.m. The fire caused $30,000 damage to the building and $5,000 damage to contents. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

A fire in the second-floor dining room of a two-story house at 125 Nevada St.. caused $15,000 damage to the structure and $5,000 to contents. The fire broke out shortly before 4:44 p.m., authorities said.
