One person was robbed at gunpoint Friday in the city’s University Heights neighborhood, Buffalo police said.

The victim told police he was approached by two teenagers about 4:30 p.m. on Minnesota Avenue, according to police. One of the teens displayed a handgun and ordered the victim to drop his belongings.

The teen with the gun was described as a black male, about 16, 5-foot-10 and wearing an orange hoodie and blue jeans

His accomplice was described as a black male, 5-foot-10, about 17, 150 pounds and wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans After the accomplice retrieved the victim’s iPhone 5 and house keys, the bandits ran west on Minnesota.

On Thursday night, one person running near Lisbon Avenue and Eggert Road, also in University Heights, was approached by a male who asked for the time, then was stabbed in the left cheek with a pocket knife, police said. The victim was treated at Buffalo General Hospital.
