Three store clerks and a bartender were arrested for selling alcohol to a minor in Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties after New York State Police made compliance checks at area bars and convenience stores on Saturday, officials said today.
Twenty-four establishments were checked, and 20 were in compliance, according to police.
In Hartfield, Almedia Erhard, 24, of Sherman, was arrested for selling alcohol to a minor at the Aero Mart, according to police. Randy Woodmansee, 23, was arrested for selling alcohol to a minor at Noeplace convenience store on 2nd Street in Jamestown, and for unlawful possession of marijuana, authorities said.
Kathy Anderson, 47, is accused of selling alcohol to a minor at the Arrow Mart in Randolph, officials said, and Winette Marino, 49, allegedly sold alcohol to a minor at Anderson’s bar in Frewsburg.
