A Youngstown man was arrested early Saturday in last Sunday’s attempted kidnapping that left a West Seneca woman bound in the truck of her car.
Jason J. Kester, 31, was charged with burglary, robbery and attempted kidnapping. He was arrested following the execution of search warrant at a Porter Center Road address in Youngstown, police said.
West Seneca Police said the victim was a senior citizen living in the Fisher Court subdivision. Kester forced his way into her home and demanded her ATM card and PIN number, police added.
The suspect bound the woman’s wrists, upper torso and mouth and attempted to force her into the truck of her car, parked in her garage, police said. Howwever, Kester ran off when a relative arrived to visit.
Early Saturday, West Seneca Police search Kester’s residence, with assistance from the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service.
