A second teenager has been charged with a late-night attack at the Cazenovia Park golf course that left a victim unconscious on Oct. 12, police said today.
Xavier Zielinski, 17, of Pomona Street was arrested Saturday and charged with robbery and gang assault as well as obstructing governmental administration. Another of the alleged attackers, Michael C. Millidge, also 17, of Edson Street, was arrested shortly after the attack occurred, police said.
Zielinski, Millidge and at least one other person – all believed to be members of the Seneca Street Hit Squad gang – attacked the victim shortly before 11 p.m. that night at the 9th hole of the Cazenovia Park gold course, police said.
The victim, whose age was not released, was approached by three or four males, then punched in the face and knocked unconscious, police said. The victim’s IPhone was stolen along with a wallet containing $20. He was taken by ambulance at the time to Erie County Medical Center with a head injury, black eye and cut on the inside of his mouth.
Zielinski attempted to hide Saturday from officers, who arrested him at 1:30 a.m., police said.
