BARKER – A woman in the 1900 block of Quaker Road said her home was burglarized for the second time in about a month and her medicine was stolen. However this time the thief did not get what he or she was looking for.

The victim told Niagara County sheriff’s deputies that she left for an appointment at 8:30 a.m. Monday and when she returned at 11 a.m. found a side door broken and left ajar. She said the only thing missing was a bottle labeled as the narcotic pain killer, hydrocodone. She told deputies that she had put her diabetes medicine in the hydrocodone bottle after she was burglarized a month ago. She said in the previous burglary the only thing taken was her hydrocodone.
