LEWISTON – A Niagara Falls man has been arrested on nearly a dozen charges following a home invasion Saturday on the Tuscarora Indian Reservation, Lewiston police reported Sunday.
Police said Keith H. Printup Jr., 26, was taken into custody at his 75th Street home by Lewiston and Niagara Falls police after he was identified to investigators by a 16-year-old girl who was home alone at the time of the incident.
The girl told police that a man with a bandana over his face entered the house on Mount Hope Road brandishing a shotgun and struck her in the face with the gun, knocking her to the floor.
She said that he ordered her to show him where the valuables were, then tied her up while he searched for them. He left after taking several items, police said.
Printup was charged with first-degree burglary, fourth-degree weapons possession, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, second-degree menacing, three counts of petit larceny and several other charges. He was arraigned in Lewiston Town Court, where bail was set at $10,000.
